Skyreader is independent software: no ads, no growth team, no investors to satisfy. The free plan is meant to be genuinely usable, and the Supporter plan exists for people who read widely and want to keep Skyreader running.

Mirrored subscriptions are the headroom for what Atmospheric sync brings along from your PDS.
Supporters also get a private address for email newsletters.
Everything else, the reader, highlights, the daily magazine, the linkblog, offline support, is the same on every plan.
Current prices are on the Supporter page, billed monthly or yearly. While Skyreader is young, plans are at founding prices, and the price you join at is yours for as long as you stay subscribed. There’s also a Believer tier, priced per year, for people who want to fund the future of reading on the Atmosphere; it includes everything in Supporter plus early access to new features.
Billing
Section titled “Billing”Checkout and billing run through Polar. Manage billing on the Supporter page opens your billing portal, where you can change plans or cancel anytime. Cancelling never deletes anything; you keep your data and drop back to free-plan limits.
